  • Mono-material labelstocksAchievement of mono-materials with PET containers

The key to efficient recycling was to use mono-material for the container and to provide ink removal functionality during the washing process.

  • Plastic-alternative labelstocksA big step toward a sustainable society with PLALESS

A product born from the fusion of water-resistant paper and adhesive technology that meets the demand for plastic-free products

Over-laminate film

Over-laminate film

Applying a transparent film to the printed surface of a label is called over-laminating. This process protects the printed surface and adds functionality such as water resistance, and design features such as gloss and matt finishes.

Over-laminate film

Protection of the printed surface

Over-laminating the printed surface of the label has the effect of protecting it from color fading and deterioration due to abrasion.
It preserves the appearance of the label and gives it a feeling of luxury.

Protection of the printed surface

Preventing discoloration due to UV

Some types are over-laminated to block UV.
Mainly used outdoors, this type of over-lamination prevents color loss in labels that will be applied for a long time.

Preventing discoloration due to UV
  • *Test condition: Fade meter, after 300 hours exposure
  • *Comparative data based on our outdoor exposure resistance tests. Its performance is not guaranteed.

Printing after over-lamination

Adding a printing coating layer to the over-laminate film allows some types to be printed with barcodes, etc. after the over-lamination process.
The label maintains visibility and gains excellent print durability.
