  • Mono-material labelstocksAchievement of mono-materials with PET containers

The key to efficient recycling was to use mono-material for the container and to provide ink removal functionality during the washing process.

  • Plastic-alternative labelstocksA big step toward a sustainable society with PLALESS

A product born from the fusion of water-resistant paper and adhesive technology that meets the demand for plastic-free products

Adhesive types
  • ※The type and shape of the adherend can affect adhesion and removability, and labels should therefore be tested before use.

Typical adhesives for paper-based materials

Type Adhesive Features
Permanent type Somen Suitable for applying to rough surfaces
CHILL AT※1 Ultra-strong adhesion. Suitable for adhesion at low temperature and to surfaces that are irregular or wet from condensation.
HVT General-purpose ultra-strong adhesion/environmentally-friendly types
PZ2 Ultra-strong adhesion
PC Can be applied to frozen food packages or wet surfaces by condensation
SG High adhesion for general use. Good adhesion to polyolefin.
Teisei For corrections, masking use
PW High adhesion for general use
Removable type High adhesion removable type FD-TAC For index labels
Low adhesion removable type MHR General-purpose removable/ For logistics, process control, and display labels
Re-applicable type Repeel※2 For sticky notes and decoration labels.
  • ※1 Adhesives listed in the Positive List of Japan's amended Food Sanitation Act are used as raw materials. Compliant with FDA standards as an adhesive. As an adhesive, it can also be combined with Biomass Mark Film Material Products certified by the Japan Organics Recycling Association (certification number: 190174) film-based material.
  • ※2 Repeel can also be combined with film-based materials.
