  • Mono-material labelstocksAchievement of mono-materials with PET containers

The key to efficient recycling was to use mono-material for the container and to provide ink removal functionality during the washing process.

  • Plastic-alternative labelstocksA big step toward a sustainable society with PLALESS

A product born from the fusion of water-resistant paper and adhesive technology that meets the demand for plastic-free products

Low temperature and condensation-covered surface suitability

Labels are prone to peeling at low temperatures, so they should be selected according to the temperature range in which they will be used. Lintec offers a wide variety of labelstocks to suit your applications and conditions, such as for refrigeration, freezing, and liquid nitrogen storage.

LINTEC Definitions of Temperatures

Lintec has defined room temperature as 30 to 15°C, refrigerated as 15 to 5°C, chilled as 5 to -5°C, frozen as -5 to -80°C, and cryogenic as -196°C, in consideration of the environments in which food and pharmaceutical products are stored. These may differ from the temperature ranges defined by JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) or Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. The application and storage temperatures in the graph are presented as a guide, not as a guarantee of performance or quality of products. Please test sufficiently in advance.

  • Application temperature range is the temperature range in which labels can be applied.
  • Storage temperature range is the temperature range in which labels retain their adhesive strength.
