  • Mono-material labelstocksAchievement of mono-materials with PET containers

The key to efficient recycling was to use mono-material for the container and to provide ink removal functionality during the washing process.

  • Plastic-alternative labelstocksA big step toward a sustainable society with PLALESS

A product born from the fusion of water-resistant paper and adhesive technology that meets the demand for plastic-free products

Plastic-alternative labelstocks

Using water-resistant paper to meet the demand for deplasticization

Plastic-alternative labelstocks

The PLALESS series consists of labelstocks using paper with excellent water resistance and over-laminate materials using cellophane made from wood pulp.

Features

  • Highly water-resistant labelstock made of paper

By applying the manufacturing technology for wash-resistant paper, which is also used for laundry tags, we offer a lineup of various labelstocks with very strong water resistance.

  • Excellent paper strength and printability

Wet strength is 3 to 5 times higher than that of general coated paper. It also has high printability, which was difficult to achieve together with water resistance until now.

PL100G01, PL100G01 COC, PL90G01

PL100G01, PL100G01 COC, PL90G01

PL100G01, PL100G01 COC, and PL90G01, with their thick and firm facestocks, are suitable for POP and eye-catching label applications that need to be able to stand after application.

Acquired the "Biomass Mark*" for its adhesive layer

PL100G01, PL100G01 COC, and PL90G01 have acquired the Biomass Mark for the adhesive layer of the labelstock. (Biomass content 10%, certification number: 180039)

Composition of labelstock

What is the Biomass Mark?
Mark authorized by the Japan Organics Recycling Association.
It is a mark for products that are produced using biomass, which is a renewable organic resource derived from living organisms, and that meet requirements for quality, standards, and specifications.

PL80G31

PL80G31, with its removable adhesive, can be removed cleanly even after becoming wet with water.

PL80G31 is paper with high wet strength, and can be removed cleanly even after becoming wet with water.

PL100G01 COC, PL80G11 COC, PL80G31 COC

Uses FSC®-certified paper

PL100G01 COC, PL80G11 COC, and PL80G31 COC are labelstocks that use FSC® certified paper for the facestock.

FSC®-certified paper labelstock

We contribute to responsible forest management with label materials made from raw materials from properly managed FSC® certified forests, recycled resources, and other managed sources.

Retains the same appearance as general over-laminate materials!

PL2055L is ideal for over-laminate materials because of its high transparency in spite of its facestock being a plastic-free material. The over-laminate process protects the printed surface from color fading and deterioration due to abrasion, and maintains the appearance of the product.
